Overview sub-tab#
Savings Opportunity card#
Total estimated monthly savings from all active AI-scored recommendations (in tenant currency)
Breakdown by impact level: High / Medium / Low
Note
Savings estimates are pre-computed at recommendation refresh time — viewing this page adds no latency.
Active Reservations card#
Total cost of active reservation commitments
Breakdown by provider (Azure / AWS / GCP)
Cost Type Breakdown chart#
Pie chart of last 30 days costs split by type: Usage / Reservation / Tax / Discount / Other. Helps quantify how much of your bill is fixed (reservations) vs variable (usage).

Recommendations sub-tab#
One card per recommendation, grouped by impact tier.
Each recommendation card shows#
Provider + cloud connection name
Recommendation category (Azure Advisor / AWS Trusted Advisor / GCP Recommender)
Affected resources (count and list)
AI savings estimate badge: estimated monthly savings + confidence rating (High / Medium / Low)
AI-generated plain-language explanation: written for non-technical stakeholders; suitable for sharing with finance teams
Source recommendation from the native cloud advisor
AI Savings Estimation — confidence ratings#
Rating |
Meaning |
When to use for business cases |
|---|---|---|
High |
Cost data available for all affected resources |
Reliable for ROI calculations |
Medium |
Cost data available for fewer than 50% of resources |
Treat as directional estimate |
Low |
No cost data available |
Directional only; validate with cloud console |
Note
Savings estimates are always capped at the actual cost of the affected resources. The AI cannot produce estimates that exceed what the resource actually costs.
Filters#
Impact filter: All / High / Medium / Low / None
Refresh button: Triggers a new AI estimation pass — recommendations are re-fetched and the AI re-runs the savings estimation agent
Dev/Test savings card#
A separate card shows estimated savings from automating Dev/Test environment shutdown. This calculation is deterministic (not AI): it estimates a 50% reduction on resources in groups tagged as Dev/Test that have automatable resource types.
Tip
Click “Automate Shutdown” on the Overview tab to go directly to creating a Start/Stop policy for your Dev/Test groups.
Reservations sub-tab#
Shows all active reservation commitments across Azure (Reserved Instances), AWS (Reserved Instances + Savings Plans), and GCP (Committed Use Discounts).
Filters: Provider / Status (Ongoing / Settled / Undefined)
Lifecycle stages:
Stage |
Meaning |
|---|---|
Detection |
Reply CMP first identifies the reservation in billing data |
Ongoing |
The reservation is active and in use |
Settled |
The reservation term has ended or the commitment is fully expensed |
Amortisation: For reservations billed upfront, full charges appear on the billing date in Actual view. In Amortised view, costs are spread evenly over the commitment term.
